Motivation des élèves en mathématiques au collège : une analyse de l’usage social desmathématiques

This paper analyzes and understand the place of the social use of mathematics in the motivation of students in middle school. This is how this research aims to characterize the motivation of students in mathematics in middle school. To carry out this study, we chose a qualitative research methodology based on semi- directed interviews. The results obtained show that the social use of mathematics can be the fastest and most effective way to motivate students in learning mathematics in middle school.
